Montebello Car Crash

A man was killed in a one-car crash this morning on Route 202 near Kings Gate Road, according to Ramapo police.  The crash occurred after 8 a.m.Firefighters from the Tallman Fire Department exricated the victim, a man, from the car.  The Ramapo police accident investigation team is on the scene.  Route 202 is closed between Kings Gate and Viola Road.  I think something happened to the car before he got to King gate.

The Basket Counts

Mel Jensen is new to the Titans Basketball team.  He is a good player but hes on the bench.  Caskie Bennett the star player of the team doesn't like competition.  Whenever Mel's on the court Caskie never passes the ball to him.  Mel gets the ball by intercepting the pass to his other teammates.  Mel think its Racist because he lives a white neighborhood and hes the good Black kid on the court that never gets the ball.

Rabies: Westchester leads state in positive test results

This article is about animals that haven't been tested for rabies shot.  Westchester had the third highest cases in the state in 2010 with 39.  Westchester had 22 cases through July of last year and has had 25 cases so far this year.  This May, Westchester had tested 138 animals, the third highest number in the state.  There was a fox that got into a house a bit a guest of a friend and it bit a dog.  They caught the gray fox and then it died 2 hours later.  If you get bit by a wild animal go get a rabies shot.

This book is about a the NBA All Star Basketball players that ever played the game.  This book explains the achievements of basketball players and the USA Dream Team.  This book shows the NBA Hall of Fame players Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O'Neal, and Magic Johnson.  This book shows the All Star Game showing the most points in a game, rebound, steals, assits, and blocks.

After learning more about the characters, what kind of connections did you make between the characters and some people in your life such as a family member or friend?

There are a lot of homeless people on the streets where I live.  The homeless people will do a anything for money, shelter, and clothes.  You can find homeless people in Spring Valley.  Homeless can be found a lot of places trying to find somewhere to live.  I know some homeless people that stand by the store, and when people come out they ask for their change.  Homeless people beg for food and money because they are hungry and thirsty.  In the book Jemmy is homeless he has no money, water or food just like the homeless people where I live.

If you had change would you give the homeless person money?
If you had clothes will you donate them to homeless people?

My Answer:8

x + 3y = 49. From the second statement, 3x + y = 49 - 22 = 27. Solving both equations together, we get x = 8 and y = 3

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book to my friends because this book has a a lot of details about a kid that came from the streets getting a job of being The Princes, Whipping boy.   Jemmy and The Prince are on their way to leaving the fair.  Jemmy needs to find some rats to sell.  Jemmy heard a voice from far away.  The voice was Cutwater and Billy.  Jemmy and The Prince started to run and they hid in mud while it was dark outside.  Jemmy and Billy are trying to grow their friendship.  This book is about an Adventure and it I would recommend this book it has a lot of details and its a nice book with Action.

What lessons can be learned by reading this book?
Jemmy and Prince Brat found a person that brought them into his Cart Wagon. Billy and Cutwater were partners with that man, so Jemmy and Prince Brat got themselves into more trouble.  Jemmy and Prince Brat where attacked by Cutwater and Billy. Billy whipped Prince Brat and there was a lady with her bear, Petunia that saved Jemmy and the Prince.  The Prince and Jemmy met a kid named Smudge. Smudge wanted to shake the Princes hand and the Prince accepted the hand shake. Jemmy told The Prince that no one is able to shake his hand.  They could get killed for shaking The Princes hand.  You shouldn't run away from home because you can get yourself into a lot of trouble and your parents could be looking for you.

I said 1000m because you walk 450 steps in a distance of 225 which is half and if you walk 500 in a distance you walk 1000 steps.

Jemmy and Prince Brat finally escaped Billy and Cutwater and are now on there way to the castle. Jemmy hid in a cart so he couldn't be seen. Prince Brat asked Jemmy how many friends he had when he was on the streets because Prince Brat didn't want to return home. He said it was the most fun he had in his life being in the forest.  Prince Brat and Jemmy met a lady that was missing her bear. Jemmy told her where the bear was and in return she told Jemmy where the river was. Jemmy and Prince Brat went south to find the river.

My Answer: 12

I picked 12 because the outer square was 24cm and it asked about the inner square and it was longer by 2 so i divided 2 into 24 and i got 12cm the inner square.

Prince Brat and Jemmy are still with Billy and Cutwater.  Prince Brat is scared to return home because he thinks his dad doesn't miss him. Jemmy and Prince Brat made a plan to escape.  The plan was for Prince Brat to go home and get his Dad to help and Jemmy was to run in the forest and hide in the fog so he couldn't be seen.  I like how Jemmy is coming up with a plan to get home without the King knowing what happened in the forest.

A shopkeeper has 800 balls of red and blue colors. 480 balls are of blue color. What percentage of the balls are red?

My Answer: D 40%

There where more Blue balls then red and the blue was 60% so i subtracted 480 from 800 and i got 320. 320 wasnt half of 800 so i knew it had to be 40% because blue was 60%. 320/800 x 100= 40%.

Brat and Jemmy ran away from the castle and went into the forest to find a new home. In the forest they met two Outlaws named Billy and Cutwater, The Prince and Jemmy have been kidnapped by "Hold Your Nose Billy" and Cutwater. Billy and Cutwater are sending a ransom note to the King. Billy and Cutwater think Jemmy is the Prince and the Prince is Jemmy because Jemmy knows how to write and read and Prince Brat cant read or write. Billy and Cutwater want 55 pounds of Gold in return for 55 pound Prince Brat.  Billy and Cutwater stole Prince Brat's Golden Crown.

How does the story's setting compare to where you live?

This book is a about Prince Brat whipping a boy from the street.   Jemmy is a boy from the streets and he isn't scared of Prince Brat. The Prince gets angry when Jemmy doesn't cry went he got spanked. Jemmy said he would never cry in front of the Prince so the Prince won't laugh in his face. The page that I am on is when the Prince decides he wants to run away. I like the book so far because I like how Jemmy isn't scared to get whipped.  He is brave.  I like how the Prince is going to run away. This brings Jemmy and The Prince on an adventure.  Would the Prince get caught by his dad.  This book doesn't compare where I live. It has nothing in common what happens in the book.  The book is a whipping boy that goes to a castle and where I live there are apartments and houses.  The story takes place in woods and we live next to woods.

Howliday Inn

The Monroe family is going on a summer vacation, Harold and Chester are going to an animal hotel called Chateau Bow-Wow. Animals are scared and so are Harold and Chester. Chester thinks there are werewolves in the hotel, Chester is scared of being at an animal hotel with animals and dog chuavinists. I like the book so far because they go on adventures at a animal hotel and there is something creeping the Monroe family out.  Do you think there is a werewolove at the Hotel?
